Contortion International is an organization enabling Contortion & Circus-style artists to have the resources they need to enhance their careers.


 

 

 

Paul Chownyk

 Paul, born in Canada, temporarily resides in Russia, where he runs Contortion International,
and helps manage Gala Entertainment Managements talent
services.

His passion for the arts, and contortion in particular, began in 1989, when he went to see
Cirque Du Soleil's show "Re-invent The Circus", Paul was left awe-struck,
and began to think what he could do for the Performing Arts Industry.

Paul later attended three of the International Contortion Conventions in 2000, 2003 and 2006, and
was one of the leading people that helped sponsor  contortionist Jasmine
George to attend the International Convention, which helped launch her

Jasmine was born in Sydney, Australia, now resides in Coffs Harbour.

Jasmine has worked throughout Europe, Canada, U.S.A, Australia,
Micronesia and the Pacific as a Contortionist, Model and Dancer in
Circuses, galas, cruise ships, commercials, TV and festivals.

She attended the famous McDonald College of the Performing Arts, where
she studied, Classical Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Drama, Artistic
Gymnastics and Rhythmic Gymnastics.

Jasmine coached gymnastics at Five Dock Leisure Centre, H&J Handstand
Co and Sydney Institute of Gymnastics.

She has been contracting circus artists, and dancers for many
spectaculars, conventions and international shows over the last four years.

Since 2007, she and her husband, Marco Moreno, have been running Circus Institute , a school for the circus arts in Coffs Harbour, Austalia
